26 – 29 November 2026 | The Escapade Games, Goa | Train. Compete. Play. Repeat.

Highlights

Train in the morning.

Compete in the afternoon.

Disappear into Goa in the evening.

Four days in a private villa in Assagaon with a group of people you have not met yet, a coach who will make you stronger, and a championship that will make you competitive about things you did not know you could be competitive about.

No sport to learn. No experience required. Bring a willingness to lose at something in front of strangers.

The idea

Most fitness trips are a workout schedule in a nice location. The workout is the product, and the people are incidental.

We built this the other way round.

The mornings are real training, coached properly, and you will feel them. But the reason people come back is what happens between the sessions: a house full of teams competing for a trophy, a leaderboard on the wall that nobody admits to caring about but everybody checks, and four days of doing slightly ridiculous things with people who stop being strangers somewhere around Friday afternoon.

You will arrive on Thursday not knowing anyone. You will leave on Sunday in a group chat that is still going in March.

The Games

Teams drafted on the day of arrival.

From that point, everything scores. The championship blocks in the afternoon, the standing challenges on the board, the events at night. Some of it is fitness. Some of it is not. All of it counts.

Points are weighted so that turning up matters more than winning. This is deliberate. The fittest person in the house is not going to carry their team, and the person who has never set foot in a gym is not going to be a liability. That is the only way a format like this works.

The standing challenges – run from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave. The dead hang. The wall sits. The loaded carry around the pool. A cumulative plank ledger that rewards stubbornness over strength.

The championship blocks – are the organised rounds. Team events in and around the villa and the pool, run in the middle of the day. Some are physical. Some are tactical.

Your coaches

Ravi Sharma @ragingreformist (The Reform Lab) runs the mornings. Strength and conditioning, inversions, mobility, coached in a small group, scaled to whoever is standing in front of him. So by Sunday he knows how you move and what you are avoiding.

Vaibhavi @yogawithvaibhavi takes the Saturday evening yoga, meditation and breathwork session at the villa. It lands on the day you will need it most, which is not an accident.

Where you stay

A private five-bedroom villa in Assagaon, the quiet inland pocket of North Goa between Anjuna and Mapusa. Old Portuguese houses, banyan trees, and the best food in the state within a ten-minute drive.

The whole villa is yours. Pool, garden, indoor and outdoor common areas. Rooms on twin or double sharing.

Everything on the training side is a short ride away.

The four days

Day 1 · Thursday, 26 November

Afternoon

Arrive at the villa from 2 PM. Welcome drink and light refreshments. Check in, settle, meet the house.

Evening

Bouldering, 5:30 to 7:00 PM. An indoor wall, coached, with routes set for people who have never climbed. This is the fastest way to break the ice in a group of strangers, because everyone is bad at it on day one and everyone gets better by the end of the session.

Night

Out in Anjuna, 9 to 11 PM. Team captains are drafted before you leave.

Day 2 · Friday, 27 November

Morning

Strength and conditioning

Breakfast at the villa.

Midday

Championship round one at the villa.

Afternoon and evening

Depart 3:00 PM for the picnic. A trek out to a spot we are not naming, Goan food, local feni, and the sun going down over water. Back by 9:00 PM.

Night

Free.

Day 3 · Saturday, 28 November

On the meals.  We include breakfast every day, the picnic, and the closing dinner, and then we leave you alone. Assagaonn and Anjuna have some of the best restaurants in India within ten minutes of the villa, and locking you into a fixed meal plan would be the single fastest way to waste that. Eat with the group, eat with two people you met yesterday, or take yourself out.

Who this is for

People who train a bit, or used to, or have been meaning to start again. There is no minimum fitness level and no sport to already know.

It suits solo travellers particularly well. Most of the house arrives alone, the teams are drawn on night one, and by Friday evening the question of who came with whom has stopped being relevant.

It is not for you if you want a silent retreat, a spa weekend, or four days of being left entirely alone. There is a lot of group in this trip, and that is the point.

Good to know

Early starts.  Training runs 7:00 AM on three mornings.

Late November in Goa.  Daytime highs of around 31 to 33°C with humidity well down from the monsoon months, and evenings around 22 to 23°C. The middle of the day is hot, which is why the championship rounds are built for shade and water, and the good weather is in the mornings and after dark.

Group size.  Capped at the size of the house. Small enough that Ravi coaches you individually and the team format works.

Getting there.  Manohar International Airport at Mopa is the closer of the two Goa airports to Assagaon. Book your outbound flight for Sunday afternoon or later.

What to bring.  Training kit for three sessions, swimwear, something for a night out, and shoes you do not mind getting dusty on the trek. Climbing shoes for bouldering are provided.

Booking

The house holds a fixed number of people and we do not oversell it. Rates and availability on the booking page.

To ensure a seamless and stress-free experience, guests are kindly advised to defer booking flights and other non-refundable travel arrangements until 30 days prior to the scheduled start date, at which point the retreat status will be officially confirmed.

Should guests choose to make travel arrangements before this confirmation window, it is recommended that refundable travel bookings be made and/or comprehensive travel insurance be secured, as early bookings remain at the guest’s discretion.

In the event of a postponement or cancellation initiated by the organisers, guests will be extended appropriate options in accordance with the retreat’s cancellation and refund policy.

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to safeguard your trip. Travel insurance can protect you in the event of unforeseen circumstances such as medical emergencies, travel delays, last-minute cancellations, or no-shows. Since Fit Escapades retreats follow a strict cancellation policy and are non-refundable, having travel insurance ensures that you are financially protected should plans change due to unexpected events.
